JUST IN: Top Dem Issues Sick Impeachment Statement, He Must Be Stopped

The Leftist resistance efforts against President Trump appear to be increasing in force. It isn’t enough that the mainstream media is overwhelmingly against the President — Leftist billionaires are ramping up their opposition efforts using their vast wealth.

As The Daily Caller reported, billionaire progressive Tom Steyer has been actively using his wealth to fund campaigns against President Trump. Steyer seems to be taking it a step farther by calling for President Trump’s immediate impeachment, saying Mr. Trump is “an urgent threat to the American people.”

Steyer, a San Francisco-based liberal-progressive mega-donor, recently spent $20 million on an ad campaign using television and media to call for the urgent impeachment of Donald Trump. His ad campaigns use the typical Leftist narrative, citing Mr. Trump’s alleged collusion with Russia during the 2016 general election, and further blaming him for increased tensions with North Korea.

He appeared with CNN’s Dana Bash, who said, “The Special Counsel, Robert Mueller, and multiple Congressional committees are in the middle of the investigations …” She then asked Steyer, “Aren’t you playing into the President’s message by calling for impeachment even before these investigations are complete?”

“Impeachment is actually a process where the House puts him up for a trial in the Senate. So in fact, to have him impeached, merely means that in a public way, the Senate goes through all of the evidence right in front of the American people,” Steyer said.

Steyer went on to claim that President Trump has “violated the Constitution and is subject to impeachment.” He did not elaborate on what exactly the President has done to violate the Constitution in the first place, however. Steyer only insisted repeatedly that President Trump has acted “in a lawless way” which somehow equates to impeachment.

“He is an urgent threat to the American people,” Steyer claimed of President Trump. “To sit here and wait, doing absolutely nothing, is the wrong thing to do. The American people want this man impeached.”

Despite his words, which are the same enraged calls from the radical Leftist such as Antifa, Steyer continually fails to outline what specific illegal actions President Trump has taken. To invest $20 million in an ad campaign calling for the supposedly justified impeachment of the President while lacking any specific violations of the Constitution — which they claim the President is guilty of — demonstrates what a non-credible movement it is.

Six Democrat members of the House introduced articles of impeachment against President Trump just a few weeks ago. The move, which Republicans called a “baseless radical effort” at least included more details than Steyer offered. Reps. Steve Cohen (D-TN), Luis Gutierrez (D-IL), Al Green (D-TX), Adriano Espaillat (D-NY), Marcia Fudge (D-OH), and John Yarmuth (D-KY), collectively introduced five articles of impeachment, which assert that President Trump violated the Constitution by his firing of former-FBI Director James Comey, accepted gifts from foreign governments in violation of the Emoluments Clause, and undermined both the judiciary and freedom of the press.

Michael Ahrens, the spokesman for the Republican National Committee, stated: “House Democrats lack a positive message and are completely unwilling to work across the aisle, so instead they’ve decided to support a baseless radical effort that the vast majority of Americans disagree with.”

The same message applies to Steyer, whose ads have been pulled from Fox News. President Trump called Steyer “wacky & totally unhinged” in a tweet last month.

Like many Leftists, Tom Steyer is a bitter citizen who is still struggling with the reality of a Trump presidency, and clinging to the fantasy of a Hillary Clinton presidency. Like the efforts of others in the “resistance” movement, his impeachment ad campaign will be fruitless.
