BREAKING: VFW Just Cancelled NFL Subscription

More bad news for the NFL. The huge demonstration of revolt among the NFL fans is really happening and it’s truly becoming a frustrating issue for everybody who enjoys watching American football despite their political views or opinion. When it comes to the flag and the anthem, the veterans have been always there to protect them and stand proudly behind them. They did it this time too. Read more below:

The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post in Florida has canceled its NFL Sunday Ticket subscription amid the ongoing protests of the national anthem.

From Fox News:

A Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) in Florida has canceled its National Football League (NFL) subscription amid the ongoing protests of the national anthem at recent games. The commander of VFW Post 10097 in Fort Myers told Fox 4 that even though he’s losing money, he won’t support those who don’t stand during The Star-Spangled Banner ahead of NFL games.

“We’re losing money because we did cancel the package,” Ralph Blydenburgh said of the post’s subscription to NFL Sunday Ticket, a way to stream out-of-market games to areas who don’t have games broadcast in their local television market.

Blydenburgh said he believes that people have the right to “voice their options” in this country, but not at the “expense” of others.

NFL should’ve seen this coming. And this is just the beginning. Soon, just after a couple of weeks, they will have huge financial losses due to the empty stadiums, canceled NFL TV packages, advertising etc. Goodell and his colleagues in the management of the league need quickly to change their policy and find a good solution for the problem. Spread this if you support VFW decision.
