The public is expressing its opinion on the whole NFL debacle more and more strongly, making it impossible for the league to ignore it. Going head against the wall with its political path of choice, the NFL is starting to realize they can’t keep this paste up for much longer. For the very people it’s dependent of are openly boycotting the games as a result of the incapability the league management showed in comprehending this matter.
When Trump spoke out about the NFL at the rally in Alabama, he wasn’t banning freedom of speech, he was doing the thing that he did throughout his whole presidential campaign… giving a voice to the American people! Nobody in the media or Hollywood or on Capitol Hill truly represents our voice.
Trump simply asked a question, “Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, you’d say, ‘Get that son of a bitch off the field right now. Out! He’s fired. He’s fired!”
The answer from America was a resounding, “Yes!”
As the league decided not to penalize the athletes for their outrageous protests and the support specifically given by Kaepernick towards a cop killer, the NFL is starting to witness just how much the fans disapprove of their actions.
American NFL fans had immediately started to burn season tickets, jersey, hats and voice their disappointment in these actions and now we can see that the stadiums are not filling up, in fact, they are pretty empty.
At Atlanta’s game on Sunday, the stadium was so sparse and a clear sign of the fans leaving the game of football. American’s want the athletes to show up and support our National Anthem.

Not only are the fans doing everything to avoid supporting the NFL, so are sponsors. More and more sponsors are pulling their advertisements. The biggest one is Budweiser.
